MY CARD Here is the card I made to share with you today. Makes me think of chocolate bunnies and Neapolitan ice cream - yum!   The base of my card is Tutu Pink cardstock from Bazzill. The pink paper with white dots is from Creative Memories, it is from a pack called Tone on Tone from their Delight's collection (hard to see them in this picture, but there are small white dots on the pink paper at the top of the card). The brown cardstock is also from Bazzill - Iced Cocoa. I used an EK Success...

Yesterday I spent part of my day working on a couple of cards and spent the rest of the day working organizing my supplies in my craft room. First I want to post a card a made to go with the baby gift for my step-granddaughter, Jennifer. This is my first attempt at an easel design and I am pretty pleased with it. It doesn't exactly match the wrapping paper for the gift, which is mostly ecru with little rabbits at play, but I wanted it to be specifically blue for boy so that it made better sense if she chooses to set it out to look at and show others. Angled view to show the easel This card is made with a digi-stamp from Squigglefly.com . And the diaper pins were just a free clip-art image from some random place on the web. I cut the pins out & raised them with foam tape to give more support to the image front. Well, I haven't gotten any more done in my efforts to revamp the sewing room into a craft room, but, I will get back to it. It is really a bit overwhelming at times. I did however make a couple of new cards. This first one is okay, but not really that good. But, I love bright colors and pinks and purples so I had to make a pink or purple. It just didn't turn out as well as I would have hoped. And, I discovered I'm not as thrilled with stickles on a large scale. But, it is what it is and I did like the teddy bear, so here I post it. This stamp is Being Together by Gillian Roberts of Stampavie. This next one I did this morning and I really like it. Of course, being one of my harshest critics, I do see flaws with it. But I really like it. This is my first attempt at coloring something other than cute little girls. And . . . this is also my first card made with a digi stamp.
